Iam just thinking about ordering some bare root roses for my garden.......here sitting in the middle of nowhere in a real "pea soup" November night with the moon occasionally poking through the veil of mist..........Iam smelling roses...........I adore roses, old fashioned perfumed English Roses with their big blousy blooms........not only are they good looking in the garden but also on chairs, sofas curtains I could go on. Iam now remebering those wonderfull over the top floral "austrian" rusched blinds that were so popular in the 80's, completely ghastly ! But here are a couple of roses on chairs that I have done, the first Mulberry Home Fabric, then a chair I covered in Kate Forman "Roses" & then Jane Churchill Rambling Rose
Your upholstering looks fantastic! I love the Kate Forman range of fabrics. I also love old fashioned roses, I recommend 'William Shakespeare' as a variety, it's deep puce in colour and has a wonderfully romantic scent.
