Wuthering Heights by Kath
This was Kaths 1st week on the course. Having never done upholstery before Kath just brought with her two small stools....she had finished the 1st stool by Tuesday morning.....so I gave her a rather broken down dining chair that needed completely restoring.......above are the finished projects with in between photos. Kath pinched some lovely Vintage French Barkcloth fabric from Kathy & we teamed it with a lovely acid yellow piece of vintage velvet ribbon & used Farrow & Ball paint on the frame. For the stool Kath used Busby 100% Linen in Natural plus lovely turquoise beads.....

Last two weeks @ the workshop
Just a selection of the chairs being restored by students over the last 2 weeks.......As they are finished their stories will be told.....
Brocante
Kathys unusual corner chair was acquired from a junk shop in Wells minus a seat, originally it had been a rush seat...but Kathy has restored with a stuff over seat using traditional methods & has used a vintage french fabric circa 1970's....
